Faith Day

Our Supreme Council is excited to share with you a great opportunity for the Knights of Columbus in our Jurisdiction coming up this September. On September 28th, the Washington Nationals are hosting their annual Faith Day, a day designed to honor faithful individuals and faith based organizations. During the pregame ceremonies, beginning at 3:30pm, the Knights of Columbus will be honored with the “Spirit Award” which recognizes the accomplishments of charitable organizations. For this honor, the Supreme Knight will be present on the field to accept this honor on behalf of the Knights. He will be joined by the State Deputies from Maryland, DC and Virginia.

To aid in the success of this event, we need your help. Please come out and support the Knights of Columbus. We have been asked to sell 50-75 tickets for the game in our jurisdiction. The link below was designed by the Washington Nationals to help sell tickets in our jurisdiction.

In addition to the award, there will be a short video advertising the Knights along with a 5th inning welcome to all Knights present at the game. Other Faith Day events include Faith bands and activities beginning at 2 p.m. and the game will start at 4:05 p.m. against the Cleveland Indians. Following the game, Members of the Nationals baseball team will be speaking about their faith and what it means to them.
