Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,

    Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra
    sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.

    Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
    Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
    Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae.

and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.

is now, and ever shall be,
World without end.

    In Latin:

    Gloria Patri,
    et Filio,
    et Spiritui Sancto.
    Sicut erat in principio,
    et nunc, et semper,
    et in saecula saeculorum.
    Amen.

The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin, Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified; died, and was buried.
He descended into hell;
the third day He arose again from the dead:
He ascended into heaven,
sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
and the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen

THE NICENE CREED

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
of all things seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, One in Being with the Father
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven:
by the power of the holy spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.

For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day, He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures;
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and His kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son He is worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

ACT OF FAITH

O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; I believe that your divine Son became man
and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the
dead. I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church
teaches, because you revealed them, who can neither deceive nor be deceived.
Amen.

ACT OF HOPE

O my God, relying on your infinite goodness and promises,
I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace,
and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

ACT OF LOVE

O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul,
because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbour
as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me and I
ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
Amen.

AN ACT OF CONTRITION

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You
and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of
heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because
they offend you, my God, who are all good and deserving
of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of your
grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life.
Amen.

PENITENTIAL PRAYER

I confess to almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have sinned through my own fault
in my thoughts and in my words
in what I have done,
and in what I have failed to do;
and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin,
all the angels and saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.

THE DAILY OFFERING

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers,
works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice
of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of
your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sin, the reunion
of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops, and of
all the Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our
Holy Father this month. Amen.

THE HAIL, HOLY QUEEN

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of Your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen.

THE MEMORARE

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known
that anyone who fled to Your protection, implored Your help,
or sought Your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with
this confidence, we fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.
To You do we come; before You do we stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions,
but in Your mercy, hear and answer us.
Amen.

GUARDIAN ANGEL PRAYER

Angel of God,
my Guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits be here.
Every day be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defender against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbley pray; do thou, O Prince of heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into Hell Satan and the other evil spirts who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus
while before Your face I humbly kneel and,
with burning soul, pray and beseech You to
fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith,
hope and charity; true contrition for my sins,
and a firm purpose of amendment. While I contemplate,
with great love and tender pity, Your five most precious
wounds, pondering over them within me and calling to mind
the words which David, Your prophet, said of You, my Jesus:
"They have pierced My hands and My feet, they have numbered all My bones."
(Psalms 22:17-18). Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE CONFESSION

Come Holy Spirit into my soul. Enlighten my mind
that I may know the sins I ought to confess, and
grant me Your grace to confess them fully, humbly
and with contrite heart. Help me to firmly resolve
not to commit them again. O Blessed Virgin, Mother
of my Redeemer, mirror of innocence and sanctity,
and refuge of penitent sinners, intercede for me
through the Passion of Your Son, that I may obtain
the grace to make a good confession. All you blessed
Angels and Saints of God, pray for me, a most miserable
sinner, that I may repent from my evil ways, that my
heart may henceforth be forever united with yours in
eternal love.
Amen.

MORNING PRAYER

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day.
I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night.
I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to You
and in accordance with Your will. My dear mother Mary,
watch over me this day. My Guardian Angel, take care of me.
St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me... Amen.

EVENING PRAYER

O my God, at the end of this day I thank You most heartily
for all the graces I have received from You. I am sorry that
I have not made a better use of them. I am sorry for all the
sins I have committed against You. Forgive me, O my God, and
graciously protect me this night. Blessed Virgin Mary, my dear
heavenly mother, take me under your protection. St. Joseph, my
dear Guardian Angel, and all you saints of God, pray for me.
Sweet Jesus, have pity on all poor sinners, and save them from hell.
Have mercy on the suffering souls in purgatory... Amen.

Prayer for Daily Neglects

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its love, all its sufferings and all its merits.
First --- To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life. Gloria Patri.
Second --- To purify the good I have done poorly this day and during all my life. Gloria Patri.
Third --- To supply for the good I ought to have done, and that I have neglected this day and all my life. Gloria Patri.

AMINI CHRISTI

Soul of Christ, make me holy.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, fill me with love.
Water from Christ's side, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Never let me be parted from you.
From the evil enemy, protect me.
At the hour of my death, call me.
And tell me to come to you.
That with your saints I may praise you.
Through all eternity.

Amen.

Adoramus Te
(We Adore Thee)

We adore Thee, most holy Lord Jesus Christ,
here and in all Thy churches that are in the whole world,
and we bless Thee; because by Thy Holy Cross Thou hast redeemed the World.
Amen.

    In Latin...
    Adoramus te, sanctissime Domine Iesu Christe,
    hic et ad omnes Ecclesias tuas, quae sunt in toto mundo,
    et benedicimus tibi; quia per sanctam Crucem tuam redemisti mundum.
    Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE DYING

Most Merciful Jesus, lover of souls, I pray You,
by the agony of Your most Sacred Heart, and by the
sorrows of Your Immaculate Mother, to wash in Your
Most Precious Blood, the sinners of the world who
are now in their agony, and who will die today.
Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying.
Amen.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick
members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid
mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in
your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds,
cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits.
May these special people find lasting health and deliverance,
and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this
through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.
Amen.

PRAYER FOR ONE'S FAMILY

Father, sometimes the family gets me down.
The children are noisy and bills pile up.
Relatives and friends make demands on my time and attention.
I try to keep first things first and create an atmosphere
where Your name is honored, Your word observed. But I get tired
and a hard edge creeps into my voice. Help me to cope with the
daily strains of living in a family. Help me to sustain a climate
in which my partner can grow in Your love, to encourage my children
to develop fully the talents You have given them, and to make of my
family the community of love that Your Son came to bring.
Amen.

ACT OF ADORATION

Jesus, my God, I adore You, here present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar,
where You wait day and night to be our comfort while we await Your unveiled
presence in heaven. Jesus, my God, I adore You in all places where the Blessed
Sacrament is reserved and where sins are committed against this Sacrament of Love.
Jesus, my God, I adore You for all time, past, present and future, for every soul
that ever was, is or shall be created. Jesus, my God, who for us has endured hunger
and cold, labor and fatigue, I adore You. Jesus, my God, who for my sake has deigned
to subject Yourself to the humiliation of temptation, to the perfidy and defection
of friends, to the scorn of Your enemies, I adore You. Jesus, my God, who for us has
endured the buffeting of Your passion, the scourging, the crowning with thorns, the
heavy weight of the cross, I adore You. Jesus, my God, who, for my salvation and that
of all mankind, was cruelly nailed to the cross and hung there for three long hours in
bitter agony, I adore You. Jesus, My God, who for love of us did institute this Blessed
Sacrament and offer Yourself daily for the sins of men, I adore You. Jesus, my God,
who in Holy Communion became the food of my soul, I adore You.

Jesus, for You I live. Jesus, for You I die. Jesus, I am Yours in life and death.
Amen.

The Confiteor

I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary, ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and to all the Saints, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech blessed Mary, ever Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints, to pray to the Lord our God for me.

May the Almighty God Have mercy on me, and forgive me my sins, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen.

May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant me pardon, absolution, and remission of all my sins. Amen

De Profundis for the Faithful Departed
(Psalm 129)

Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord, hear my voice.
Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If Thou, O Lord, shalt mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand?
For with Thee there as merciful forgiveness; and by reason of Thy law I have waited for Thee, O Lord.
My soul hath relied on His word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
From the morning watch even unto night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
Because with the Lord there as mercy; and with Him plentiful redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

V. Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord.
R. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
V. May they rest in peace.
B. Amen.

Prayer for Deceased Parents

O God, Who hast commanded us to honor our father and mother, look in the tenderness of Thy mercy upon the souls of my father and mother and forgive them their sins, and grant unto me the joy of seeing them again in the glorious light of everlasting life. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Golden Arrow Prayer

May the most holy, the most sacred, the most adorable, the most incomprehensible, and ineffable Name of God be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, with the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Saint Francis of Assisi

Load, make me an instrument of you peace.
Where their is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be
consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is dying that we are born to
eternal life.
