The primary focus of the Maryland State Council Family Activities Program is to execute the State Council's strategic focus on integrating our Council family programs into the Parishes for which they serve. Maryland Councils distinguish themselves by conducting a wide variety of social, service, educational and spiritual events that are of interest of all family members. The challenge set forth by our Supreme Knight, Carl Anderson, is for the Councils of our Order to take the lead in our Parish communities to promote the New Evangelization espoused by our Holy Father Pope Francis. Our Family Programs primary objective is consistent with the Order's Building the Domestic Church While Strengthening Our Parish initiative.

Evangelization will depend largely on the Domestic Church

                                             -Saint Pope John Paul II

Integration of our Council Family Programs with our Parish Family Ministries involves:
o Formulate a program plan that will institute events that will be inclusive of all Parish families
o Find out what is important to the Parish in conducting family ministries
o Seek agreement on the range and scope of events that will benefit all family members - fathers, mothers and children
